Madeleine, also known as Mae, graduated from Webster University with a degree in International Studies and a minor in Management. Additionally, she graduated from the College of Advanced Chinese Language at Beijing Language and Culture University with a certificate in Chinese Language. She lived in Beijing for two years before moving back to Saint Louis in 2019.
Gaining experience as an International Marketing Specialist, Mae worked at the Beijing office of a global internet technology firm, and as the Marketing Coordinator for the Confucius Institute at Webster University. Prior to becoming an official Cook, she freelanced for Hot In The Kitchen on several Emerson projects. In July 2021 she became an official Cook and has been supporting marketing efforts for Emerson, Simons Jewelers, Developmental Disability Advocates and CPC Logistics.
A true chef herself, Mae enjoys cooking in her free time, and hanging out with her family, their five pets and her friends. Her goal is to one day visit the home countries of all the friends she made while living in Beijing.
